Wrangler jeans from America. The Real Wild West
Wrangler men's jeans owe their appearance to the flight of twenty-year-old C. C. Hudson from Spring Hill, Tennessee. In search of work, he came to Greensboro, North Carolina. In search of work, he got a job at a local textile factory and started sewing on buttons — at 25 cents an hour.
For seven years he nurtured the idea of his own business, and then, in 1904, he and his brother Homer got their chance. The factory went bankrupt and closed, and its sewing machines the former employees were able to buy out cheaply. That is how Hudson Overall appeared. The brothers started with sewing workwear, primarily popular overalls. Seven years later, in 1926, Blue Bell acquired Big Ben Manufacturing from Kentucky, though with the already recognizable brand preserved. Ten years later, their new Super Big Ben overalls made from certified Sanforized fabric, which practically did not shrink, became a real bestseller.
