27 August 2025
Dear customers!
(❗️Delivery and forwarding within the US remain unchanged)
From August 29, 2025 the usual duty exemption (de minimis) for parcels sent from other countries to the US is being canceled in the US.
Previously, goods worth up to $800 could be received without duties. Now any international parcel to the US will be subject to fees — either according to the tariffs of the sending country, or fixed ($80–200 per item).
What this means for you:
If you order independently from foreign online stores (EU, Canada, Asia, etc.) to the Prostobox.com warehouse, the duty will be charged upon import into the US. Payment is made by the recipient(buyer).
If you place an order through buyers, payment of the tax may also be required at checkout. In this case payment is made by the client. The exact amount of the tax can be found out after the goods arrive at the warehouse.
Important: the changes will not affect most customers who order goods from the US to other countries.
For 99% of service users, delivery conditions will remain the same.
We understand that this is a significant change and may affect your orders. We are monitoring the situation and will keep you updated.
