USPS Priority – is international postal delivery in partnership with the American postal service USPS. The tariff allows sending consolidated parcels ordered independently or through an operator, with free repacking and simplified processing. Parcels are delivered to the door or to the nearest post office.
The USPS Priority tariff stands out for postal delivery through the USPS network and national postal operators of destination countries. Unlike express courier services (DHL, FedEx), parcels are delivered by mail. Volumetric weight is taken into account, and the maximum shipment weight is 30 kg.
No need to provide invoices, product links, or upload passport photos. To complete the form, simply fill out the customs declaration indicating the names of the goods and their value.
The duty-free customs limit for the USPS Priority tariff depends on the country of delivery. Limits can be clarified on the tax service website of your country.
The average package delivery time is usually from 15 to 25 days. The exact timeframes depend on the tariff and the recipient's city.
USPS Priority parcels are sent on Tuesdays and Fridays.
The shipping restrictions are as follows: the maximum parcel weight is 30 kg, the maximum length is 103 cm, and the sum of length and girth is no more than 194 cm. Volumetric weight is taken into account: the calculation is made automatically via API based on the weight and dimensions of the parcel.
The parcel can be insured against total loss.
Parcel insurance is not mandatory.
The cost of insurance is $3 for every $100 of the goods value. The insurance maximum is $1350.
Not eligible for insurance: antiques, goods from eBay (loss only), jewelry, watches, candles, lamps, monitors, glass, ceramics, musical instruments, food products, stamps, collectible items, cosmetics in fragile packaging and others. Insurance does not cover damage from poor packaging or when dividing the parcel without additional packaging.
To file a claim for insurance payout, contact tickets no earlier than 30 days after sending the package. Application review takes 30 to 60 days. The decision is made by the carrier.
